The Official Policies page contains articles that are considered particularly important to the operation of the CSAPedia. The articles in this category explain and give guidance on some of these more important policies.
Very likely there is no "bright line" of distinction between proposed policy, guidelines, and "actual" policy. Policy at CSAPedia is a matter of consensus, tradition, and practice. While the principles of the policies in this category are specific, the details are often still evolving, so not everything in these pages represent hard and fast rules.
RACISM - According to "Official" history the Confederate States in particular and the South in general was the hub of racism. This is a view that has been extremely difficult to disprove as biased or Anti-Southern documentaries and so-called experts repeatedly put forth that misconception. Having stated that, the CSAPedia presents a Confederate States (and South) that is, for the most part, the opposite of what "Official" history records.
